ターミナルを開く。root@localhostからのログインは上。それ以外は下のコマンドでログイン。

# mysql -u root
# sudo mysql -u root

パスワードを設定する。

MariaDB > update mysql.user set password=password('パスワード') where user = 'root';
MariaDB > flush privileges;

ユーザーのプラグインにunix_socketが設定されていると、root@localhostからしかログインできない。（rootにはこれがついている）

データベースを選択する。

use mysql;

ユーザー情報の一覧表示。

select host,user,plugin,password from mysql.user;

ユーザーの作成。（unix_socketを設定）

create user 'test'@'localhost' identified via unix_socket;

ユーザーの削除。

delete from user where user = 'test';
